You invest a tremendous amount of time and effort in a research project. You read widely on the subject; you conceive a new way to test an idea; you collect and analyze reams of data. Now you are faced with the most important aspect of the project: communicating the findings in writing, and, hopefully, through publication in an academic journal.
In the first session, we will look at what APA-style writing is. In the second session, we will consider common errors in APA-style writing related to grammar, spelling, and sentence structure. The third session will provide an overview of the writing process, i.e., getting the information and ideas into written words suitable for the APA style. Finally, the fourth session will present resources to help the researcher throughout the entire APA-style writing process.
